He does his very best to stay on schedule for all of his patients so that really ill/newborn babies aren't stuck in the waiting room for an hour, but a lot of people just don't get it! You and MLC have a lot in common right now...

2. I have a suggestion for how to deal with sweet Gavin. This works on younger children, but I don't see why it shouldn't work on him too. Just pick a couple of night when you don't have to get up too early/can grab a Vente something from Starbucks:

Night 1: when he wakes, take him back to his room and sit in a chair beside his bed. You can occasionally rub his back/soothe him, but mostly just sit there quietly with your eyes closed until he falls asleep. Do this every time he wakes up. Warning: it will feel like torture for you and you will be very tempted to just give in and let him sleep in your room.

Night 2: move the chair to the middle of the room and stay in there quietly until he falls asleep. You can occasionally soothe him with soft words.

Night 3: Same drill, but with the chair by the door.

Night 4: Chair in the hallway, if necessary.

Night 5: He's on his own and will, hopefully, not need you!

Good luck!

3. You are right about this gender-neutral stuff. The Little Miss can't walk yet, but is convinced she's a ballerina. She holds on to the side of the couch and poses. It's super duper cute.

4. You have to meet my kids. And I want to see yours again.

5. I'm not caught up on SYTYCD yet--I'm behind a few episodes, but so far it's looking great! And it makes me cry continually. And the thought of you needing to wash your bangs IMMEDIATELY makes me laugh.annettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11055096026786137436noreply@blogger.com
